Responsible for the central functions "Controlling, Accounting & Risk", "Group Processes & Information Technology", "Compliance", "Governance & Procurement" as well as the tribes "Excellence & Performance", and "Organizational Transformation".
Studied business administration in Essen (graduated as Diplom-Kaufmann) followed by an Excecutive Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Birmingham.
Daniel Wodera began his career in 2001 at thyssenkrupp Werkstoffe GmbH in Düsseldorf, Germany. After finishing his trainee as a wholesale and export merchant, he held several management positions at the renamed thyssenkrupp Materials International, including initially in Corporate Development.
From 2010 to 2012, Daniel Wodera headed Controlling at the Metals Germany Operating Unit, where he was responsible for the merger of the companies in Germany.
In mid-2012, Wodera took over the management of Controlling at thyssenkrupp Materials International.
In 2015 Wodera became a member of the Board of Directors as Chief Financial Officer of Acciai Speciali Terni S.p.A. in Italy.
Daniel Wodera has been a member of the Executive Board and CFO of the Materials Services segment and a member of the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Materials Services GmbH since October 1, 2019.
